Chinese Drum History

Why are so many Filipinos overly proud to know English?
I was just looking over some of the answers on the question about Koreans hating Filipinos and couldn’t help but notice people thinking so highly of Koreans visiting the Philippines to learn English. So, what? They have a very lively thriving economy, a big trade market and a good reputation around the world. What does the Philippines have to be proud of, knowing English? What else, Pacquiao?
The way I see it is because many Filipinos yearn the American lifestyle which I can’t say for Koreans, Chinese, Japanese and other Asians. They manufacture many of the world’s cars and electronics and actually have their own culture including their own philosophy, a rich history and music involving their own unique instruments. What do Filipinos use? Guitars and drums… I wonder where they discovered that.
Atleast we know English, right?
Filipinos are stupid!
They are proud of the stupidest things. Yes they know English but their English speaking skills have declined over the past few decades! This pride blinds their stupidity!
