Info about aries zodiac sign and greek mythology?

I am 22 and I am a greek, italian male and I have been thinking about getting a tattoo that represents me. I don’t kno alot about zodiac signs or greek mythology. The old stories and myths I have heard really interest me but ibdont kno too much history. We’ll anyways for my tattoo I was thinking about getting the mythological Hydra on my right arm. Its a 9 headed dragon and I remember reading a long time ago about a story that involved the hydra and a ram. The Ram is the sign of march and aries so I wanted my tattoo to invlove both. If anyone knows more about that story can u fill me in so I can get an idea of what my tattoo is displaying? Thanx for all input!
